Since the beginning, Ubooker has been about creating new and disruptive ways to provide a better experience for our models and clients. In late November, we teamed up with two iconic fashion veterans - photographer Gianluca Santoro and creative director Belen Antolin - to produce Ubooker’s first fashion shoot at London’s Spring Studios.

Why would a modelling platform produce its own shoot? Well, we’re glad you asked! We know that creating strong and on-trend content for our models is key to achieving direct bookings from top clients worldwide, and in this case, we also collaborated with Elle Russia on an editorial feature to be published in 2019.

Our shoot was based around the narrative idea of a romantic rock. Belen’s styling choices of soft spring pastel colour palettes, delicate lace, vintage leathers, and bold asymmetric accessories perfectly aligned with today’s worldwide trends. Coupled with Julia Laza’s direction on natural makeup, and Richard Scorer’s effortlessly cool hair styling, we created a fresh story that we can’t wait to share.

Gianluca Santoro is a portrait photographer whose work has been published in various international magazines such as Vogue US, Vogue Italy, Vogue Russia and many more. Gianluca has also shot celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Karlie Kloss, Arizona Muse, Sara Sampaio. Belen Antolin was the fashion director of Vogue Spain for 18 years.

Belen recently decided to branch off on her own and become a creative director.
