My Lightbulb Moment: Former model Claudia Wagner reveals inspiration behind her online booking app

Claudia Wagner, 41, is a former fashion model and co-founder of Ubooker, an online booking platform connecting models with potential clients. She lives in London with her husband and two-year-old son.

My modelling career started when I was scouted at 19. I ended up travelling the world, fronting campaigns for Chanel and L’Oreal.

In 2000, I met my friend Diana Gaertner at Milan airport; we’d both done a show for Armani and ended up chatting for hours as our flight was delayed. We stayed in touch and became close friends as our careers progressed.

In 2015 we were having dinner and complaining about the same thing we’d be moaning about for 15 years.
